Registration

Course registration is by invitation through Eventbrite. Courses that do not fill to capacity may be advertised in the Friday E-Bulletin.
-
Invitations are emailed through Eventbrite starting approximately 3 to 4 weeks before the course starts, and are staggered to ensure those closest to upgrading are given the first opportunity to register.
-
Upgrade course fees are $25 per course day, plus Eventbrite administration fees (e.g., a 2-day course is $50 + Eventbrite fees); seminars are usually no cost.
-
Capacities are limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
If you try to register and the course is full, we encourage you to add your name to the waitlist in Eventbrite. You will be contacted if a seat becomes available.

-
Many courses have prerequisites, and only those Members who meet the prerequisites will be invited to attend.
-
When you receive an invitation, it's up to you to decide before registering whether you have the knowledge and skills to succeed in a course. The DGC BC does not check if you are ready for a course.

-
Eligibility depends on your status in the Logbook Holder Program, when you joined the Program, and the number of days you have worked towards Membership.
-
Due to potential fluctuations in both your days worked and program status, DGC BC staff cannot provide specific information on when you will be invited to courses.
-
The typical timeline for a Logbook Holder to complete all courses is approximately 12 months.
