Born in Iran, raised and trained in Canada. After finishing Vancouver Film School, he became a proud member of the DGC in 2012. He began his journey in the industry as a Production Assistant, always believing in the value of hands-on experience. More than a decade and over 50 projects later, he has worked his way up to First Assistant Director while also continuing to take on Second AD roles — both of which have been the foundation of his career.

Iman has worked on productions across Canada, including Vancouver, Toronto, and Newfoundland. He brings a deep understanding of industry standards and union regulations, including DGC, SAG, ACTRA, UBCP, and IATSE. He is known for his clear communication, strong leadership, organizational skills, and positive attitude on set. In addition to his work as an AD, Iman is developing a slate of independent projects as a producer. Passionate about storytelling and fueled by the daily hustle of filmmaking, he brings energy, dedication, and heart to every production — and is always eager to learn and connect with new people in the industry.
