Hello!

I’m Frances Miller, a Toronto-based musician transitioning into sound editing as a GAP-TASE. Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a freelance session vocalist and guitar player while bartending part-time.

My creative journey has included everything from writing and touring with bands, to composing music for contemporary dance and short films, to working with the CBC to produce and edit a podcast pilot about how sound shapes our world. Most recently, I worked as the Sound Designer for artist Nicole Collins' 20-minute-long short film Order and Unknowing (releasing 2025).

I am so excited dive deeper into the world of post sound and eager to learn all that I can as a new trainee.
