Hello,

My name is Dante Massimo Antonetti and I am a Trainee Assistant Picture Editor under the 2024 GAP admission cycle with the Directors Guild of Canada.

Picture editing has been a passion of mine for several years, and as such, l am very excited to pursue it as a career. While enrolled in RTA Media Production at Toronto Metropolitan University, I learned from seasoned veterans in the industry with regards to all aspects of the film industry. In 2023, I worked as a Post Production Intern at 9 Story Media on popular children's series such as Daniel Tiger and Blue's Clues & You! In the latter part of the year, I was hired as a Junior Assistant Editor at marblemedia for the sixth season of the Emmy-nominated and Canadian Screen Award-winning series (Best Picture Editing, Children's or Youth), All-Round Champion, where I was taught to use ScriptSync in Avid Media Composer; I am confident that this experience has prepared me greatly for future roles as a TAPE in the DGC. 

I never shy away from a challenge, always strive to learn new skills, and value constructive feedback from my experienced and talented superiors who will guide me as l build my career as a Picture Editor.
