Lauro Chartrand-DelValle is a film and TV Director/Producer/Writer, Stunt Coordinator, and Second Unit Director with more than 35 years of industry experience. Most recently, Lauro served as the Stunt Coordinator and Second Unit Director for FX’s acclaimed series, Shogun, starring Hiroyuki Sanada; and CBS’s Tracker, starring Justin Hartley. After establishing a successful career as a professional martial arts competitor and instructor, Lauro got his start in the industry as a stunt performer. His expertise in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat shaped him into a naturally talented performer who has worked with many of Hollywood’s biggest action stars such as Tom Cruise, Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham. Over the years, Lauro has grown into one of Hollywood’s top Stunt Coordinators. His credits include coordinating the stunts of Netflix and Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club; the 2019 remake of Child’s Play, starring Aubrey Plaza; and Lionsgate’s Dragged Across Concrete, starring Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn. Lauro’s other notable credits include Stunt Coordinating and Second Unit Directing the fifth and final season of Fox’s Prison Break and Universal Pictures’ feature film, Easter Sunday, starring Jo Koy; and serving as a stunt performer for many notable films and TV shows, including Deadpool 2, War for the Planet of the Apes, Jumanji, Arrow, and The X-Files. As a Director/Producer/Writer, Lauro is currently directing and writing his latest feature, titled Protectors of the Land, inspired by the true story of the Mexican Cartel’s foothold in Alaska, starring Oscar-nominee Graham Greene.
