A gifted story teller, Anne De Léan holds a degree in Psychology and a M.A. in Media Studies. After graduating from the renowned Québec National Institute of Image and Sound in 2005, Anne's innate talent as a director quickly drew the attention of the entertainment community. Her work on numerous highly acclaimed television series and feature films has made Anne a highly sought after talent. Her intuitive ability to work with actors combined with an authentic sense of esthetics has enabled Anne to bring out the best in every script, earning her multiple nominations from the Gémeaux Awards, as well as the DGC and Canadian Screen Awards. Passionate and enthusiast, her devotion as a story teller has created opportunities for her to work in many genres bringing her wit and generosity to every production. Being Bilingual, Anne has worked in both French and in English. Currently based in Montréal (Qc) Anne is available for productions shooting outside the province. When not in production, Anne spends her free time writing, having penned two best-sellers, Sans faire d’histoire (2014) and Sans faire plus d’histoire (2019).
