Liz Bischof has worked from coast to coast in Canada as a production designer but she began her career working internationally as a props maker for operas in London, Amsterdam and Sydney as well as broadway musicals in New York, Las Vegas and Toronto. Eventually she found her way into an art department and started art directing and production designing features and tv series. She has recently received 2 consecutive DGC nominations for Best Production Design for "Son of a Critch” in 2022 and 2023.  Earlier in her career, while focused on props, she designed the coral cave for the Ocean Room which won a Gemini Award for Best Children's Series in Toronto as well as designing and building the bird puppets for Otje in the Netherlands which earned a Beeld en Geluid, the Dutch Academy Award, for Best Youth Program.
