Julia Beney is a Writer and Director based in the GTA, Ontario. Julia graduated from the University of Toronto with a Specialist in Cinema Studies, and trained in Daniela Saionis Director Whisperer Program for Directors and Script Supervisors. When not working on her own projects, Julia works as a Script Supervisor.

Julia loves the ability for genre films to act as vehicles for tackling very real and sometimes personal experiences and issues, and continues to work on honing that craft with her short films and scripts.

Inspired by the likes of Spielberg and Miyazaki, and eager to continue telling stories that are both entertaining and meaningful, Julia is working toward a career in Feature Film & TV as a Writer and Director.
