Roxann Karonhiarokwas Whitebean is a media artist from the Mohawk Territories of Kahnawà:ke and Akwesasne. Her work can be seen on the CBC, Paramount+, CBS, TVO Kids and PBS, as well as film festivals worldwide. Roxann's latest work as a writer and director is the short film Rose, funded by Telefilm's Talent to Watch program and the docuseries Pulse, produced by Nish Media. Her work as television screenwriter includes SkyMed and season four of Diggstown. She won Main Film's International Indigenous Filmmaker Award and received the REVEAL Indigenous Arts Award. She has also been nominated for Hot Docs' Lindalee Tracey Award. Her film, Rose, won numerous awards, including ImagineNATIVE's live-action short award.
