Angelique Christophorou (Angel Christo) is a Greek-Cypriot Australian Canadian Citizen living and working in Vancouver, Canada. She is a Jill of all trades; an author, filmmaker and film/drama teacher. At age 16, Christo won Griffith University’s One-Minute Pitch Screenwriting Competition. Her reward was directing the film; an advertisement for Replay Jeans. This awarded her entry to film school and the rest is history. Christo has a Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production, Post Graduate Certificate in Screen Drama; Directing and Screenwriting and Post Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education amongst other qualifications. She has also studied Applied Theatre, Technical Production and Psychology. Ordinarily writing screenplays, she also published a book "The Code to Deciphering Women" published by Boolarong Press in 2014. Her screenwriting credits include a Co-Writer and Producer on The Devil May Care; Blood, Lust and Wrath short film trilogy and a Writer on Project: One Shot, a one-shot film shot in and around Sanctuary Cove, Queensland, Australia. She has many projects and screenplays in different stages of development including two unproduced feature screenplays heavily incorporating her Greek culture and background; All’s Fair in Love & War and Amity Point Horror, two pilot scripts for a TV series; Divinity College and The Roles We Play (6 episode limited series), a Supernatural spec script; Angel Nation, a TV movie scripts; Power Couple (selected as part of the 2024 WFF Producer's Lab) and Reel Christmas, two short scripts; Game Master and Hypnosis and seven feature screenplays in early development; S/HE Said, Film Fatale, The R Word, EXcape Room, Repatriation, Keep it in La Familia, Divinity College (feature trilogy) to name a few. Christo currently permanently resides in Canada working on North Hollywood film and television productions as an Assistant Director, Showrunner’s Assistant, Producer’s Assistant and Director’s Assistant, while screenwriting/directing/producing and making her own projects on the side.
