It never crossed my mind to become involved in the film industry. Growing up I was taught that it was a place for dreamers - not me. After graduating from university with a Bachelor of Political Science during the pandemic I worked as a store manager which leading a staff, creating a healthy and organized environment. Then, in an E-commerce role, I quickly learned new skills and developed a comprehensive understanding of different tools including Excel. Despite prospering in these roles, I was unfulfilled. The one constant throughout this time was my passion for filmmaking. I watched a movie everyday, learned about the process and am now eager to get first hand experience to learn about the worlds best medium. Since the beginning this journey earlier this year I’ve joined the DGC GAP program as a Post-Production PA in order to start this journey and I couldn’t be more excited.
