Ben Lawrence is an experienced and award winning picture editor, videographer and storyteller. Over the past 15 years, he has helped build and brand entertainment for some of Toronto's leading production houses. Recent Film credits include My Tree (CSA Winner for Best Editing, Feature Length Documentary), Story & Song: Amazing Grace (OWN/Muse/Relevé), Brown Girl Begins (Dir. Sharon Lewis), Falling in Love Niagara (Hallmark/Fireside), Laughing All the Way (Lifetime/Fireside), On the Fringe of Wild (Dir. Emma Catalfamo), Lease on Love (Champlain/ReelOne), Ghost of Christmas Past (Champlain/ReelOne). TV/Web-Series credits include the 2021 CSA winning production Tokens (Dir. Winnifred Jong), season one and two. Frankie Drake Mysteries: Cold Case (Shaftesbury), Murdoch Mysteries: Beyond (Shaftesbury), Inhuman Condition (Smokebomb Ent.), The Listener: The Toby Logan Files (CTV). In 2020 & 2016 Lawrence was nominated for a Canadian Cinema Editor's award for Tokens, and I Remember Laura (Dir. Olivier Sabino). Lawrence also edits regularly for a number of emerging digital networks including the Millie podcast- celebrating female entrepreneurs around the globe. He holds a diploma in Post-Production and a BFA in Acting.
