Jill Carter’s work spans a variety of genres, showcasing her talent and interest in uniting people of all ages through thoughtful and universal experiences.

Jill directed and executive produced the pilot block of the buzzy Syfy comedy series Astrid & Lilly Save the World, along with the pilot and multiple episodes of the dramatic thriller The Murders (Sundance Channel). She has worked for BET+, Freeform, Hulu, Lifetime, Hallmark, CBS and The CW.

Jill is an alum of the prestigious TIFF Studio, an incubator program run by the Toronto International Film Festival. Outside of work, her interests include travel, music, photography, literature and art. She studied fashion design before transitioning to film and television.

Jill resides in Toronto and holds both Canadian and British citizenship along with an 01 Visa.
