Profile Overview

As a child I would get my friends together to make documentaries, short films and commercials and because of my passion for filmmaking I also became an ACTRA member at any early age. Though I still had an interest in filmmaking, I was planning on a political education until I took a media class in high school. From there, I went on to complete the Film and Television Production Program at Humber College. Afterward, I managed to produce and direct a couple of award winning short films. I started a video & photography company to raise money to make a feature film and went on to complete a BFA through Ryerson University\u2019s Film Program. After graduating, I worked in advertising as a Steady Cam Operator and as a Director of Photography, which led me to Directing and writing copy for commercials. Feeling unfulfilled, I travelled for a while before living on a First Nations Reserve to teach film. Last summer, I worked as a Key Production Assistant on the Warner Brothers show\u2014Legends of Tomorrow. The film industry has always been a part of my life and I want to continue working on set and to train as an assistant director.
