DGC Green Ontario is excited to announce a permanent e-waste donation bin in the Members Hub at 65 Heward Avenue in partnership with reBOOT Canada! Check out this video created by the Sustainability Committee to learn more about the new e-waste box:
Got old tech? Drop it off, reduce waste, and give it a second life! Donated devices will be securely refurbished and distributed to families and students without access to technology.
Plus, you may be eligible for a CRA-compliant tax receipt for your donation.
What You Can Donate

Laptops, desktops, and flat-screen monitors (any brand or condition)

Cell phones, tablets, and gaming consoles
-
Hard drives, network equipment, and computer peripherals (keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.)
What NOT to Donate

CRT monitors/TVs, medical or personal care devices, appliances, furniture, printers, scanners, or audio equipment
How to Prepare Your Items

Back up and wipe all personal data before donating

Include chargers and accessories if possible

Disable "Find My iPhone/Device" and remove encryption/passwords
Fill out reBOOT Canada’s DGC Ontario donation form and drop off your approved e-waste in the reBOOT Canada e-waste box in the Members Hub. Members are encouraged to complete their donation form in advance and to label their items with their names, especially if they plan to drop off a large number of items. Labelling materials will be located near the box in the Member’s Hub.
For large donations, schedule a drop-off at reBOOT Canada’s office (1633 Eglinton Ave West).
