National Executive Board (NEB) elections will be held during the National Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 29, 2017 in Montreal.

One member will be elected for each of the following positions: 

  • 2nd Vice President (must not be a Director) - 2 year term
  • Secretary Treasurer - 2 year term
  • National Directors' Division Representative - 1 year term (the 2018 election cycle will return the position to a 2 year term)

A Member may be nominated or stand for election for the above noted positions if he or she has been a full member for the last two consecutive years, is a resident in Canada and intends to reside in Canada while serving on the NEB. Associate members and Members on honourable withdrawal are not eligible to vote or accept nomination, but are welcome to attend the AGM.

In order to serve as 2nd Vice President or Secretary-Treasurer, a Member must have completed at least two years as an NEB member or on the executive of a District Council.

Two full Members may also make nominations from the floor of the AGM. Only full Members in active good standing are eligible to vote or stand for election.

All nominations must be received by 5:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
