I’ve been working in film for 23 years. My first job was as a Craft Service Assistant on the pilot of “X-Files” in 1993, I was 16 so it was my summer job. I learned a lot about sleep deprivation, colourful language and how to make a good cup of coffee, (all kidding aside) I saw how passionate people were about their careers, the amazing work ethic of some and how on a film set people become part of a family (maybe a slightly dysfunctional one), it really had an impact on me at a young age. I did my first day as a PA on the road to Seymour Mountain in the torrential rain with a stop slow paddle, it was a Lesley Nielsen movie, even though the rain was terrible we had a great time and laughed a lot, I was hooked.
