DGC Fundamentals
Required for membership to the DGC BC.

Description
DGC Fundamentals introduces you to the Directors Guild of Canada, British Columbia. You will learn about the structure of the Guild and how it works, the benefits of being a Member, and how the Collective Agreement protects you. A segment on Respectful Workplaces will also be included, and you'll have the opportunity to meet your PA Caucus Representative.
Caution: Some material discussed in this class may be triggering for individuals, particularly those who have experienced trauma or PTSD. Efforts will be made to provide warnings throughout the day.

- You will be expected to participate in small group activities during class.
Course Materials
- Materials will be provided online through the DGC BC training website.
Technical Requirements
- A computer with an internet connection to access the course materials.
- Zoom classes require a computer with a stable internet connection, and a functioning webcam, microphone, video, and audio.
- This course uses Mentimeter, an interactive presentation tool. It may be helpful to have a second device (e.g., cellphone) for use during class.
Registration
- This course is open to eligible Logbook Holders in Good Standing.
- Registration is by invitation only through Eventbrite.
