This week we want to highlight some more changes coming into effect in a few weeks. As of April 6, 2025, there will be increases to mileage, car allowance, and per diem amounts as follows:

• Mileage will increase from the current rate of $0.35/km to $0.43/km.
• Daily car allowance increases from $30/day to $35/day.
• Per diem goes up from $65/day to $70/day: $14.50 for breakfast, $22.50 for lunch, and $33 for dinner.

These amounts continue to increase over the life of the contract – for more details take a look at the Summary of our Memorandum of Agreement. We hope to have the full Collective Agreement ready to be published soon!
