2010 DGC AWARDS - CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The 9th Annual DGC Awards will be held in Toronto, on Saturday, September 25th at the regal Fairmont Royal York Hotel's Canadian Room.

New and Improved Awards Categories:

The DGC is pleased to announce the addition of Best Short Film to the team award categories for 2010.  To view all team and craft award categories and submit a production, download the 2010 DGC Awards Official Rules Booklet and the Official Submission Form.  

Please note:
• Only full members in good standing are eligible to submit productions.
• All entries must be DGC signed or dispensated productions completed between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 (including post production). 
• Individual episodes are to be nominated, not complete series, for the Best Television Series team awards.

Complete submissions (including DVD screeners) must be made directly to the National office in person or by post by no later than Monday, March 1, 2010:

2010 AWARDS JURY CALL
Introducing a Simplified Adjudication Process  

Jury members screen nominations in specific categories and, based on a rating system, make recommendations for the final ballot. Jury members also screen and vote on the final DGC Awards.
 
This year, two significant changes were made to improve the DGC Awards adjudication process:
1. the total screening time required by the awards jury has been reduced considerably; and
2. the weight of a juror's vote on the final ballot has been increased to 80%.
